The weather is suppose to change this weekend so Corey and I decided to take on last 4-wheeler ride before the snow hit. We love where we live because it takes all of 2 mins to be on some fun trails that will take us anywhere. It always amazes me all the places Corey knows. He never seems to take me to the same place twice. It is great!!!!
The leaves on Monroe Mountain had changed last week and we barely got there in time to see the last few colors of the season. It was a brisk evening but so beautiful. Here are some Aspens holding on to fall as best they can. In about a month this will be covered with snow so deep that only snowmobiles will be here till May or June.
This Doe and her babies were looking for food before the eveningfully set in.You can see the Doe and one of her twins if you look
closely.I couldn't get the other baby to look up long enough to get a pic. This was awesome because Corey and I sat there and watched them for a good 5 minutes. They never moved.
The fall leaves play peek-a-boo around the next corner. The contrast of the Evergreens and the fall colors is breathtaking. This picture doesn't do it justice.
It was so neat to be up in the mountians. We can just in time to see all the Evergreens decorated for Christmas. Alot of the bright yellow Aspen leaves had fallen on everything, the road, the bushes and even the green trees. It was awesome. I had never seen anything like it. It really looked like Christmas trees!!! All decorated and beautiful. I wish I could get that same effect on my Christmas trees. Maybe I will try that this year.
The leaves were great, the weather was great, the company was great!!! I am so greatful for a wonderful husband who likes to show me his favorite places. He is wonderful and the trip wasn't half bad either! ;)
