As I was leaving a 4-H meeting at the county building tonight there was a parade just getting underway down our Main Street. Luckly the kids and Corey were waiting in the van...so out they came and we got to watch as the Fire Fighters Parade got underway! Gotta LOVE small town...any reason for a parade ;)
The Weather was horrable but that didnt' stop people for lining the streets so they could wave at their firemen!
Aislinn waved to all the different fire trucks that were on display and she loved it when they would wave back.
The rain was pouring but it was so fun to have an reason to play in the rain....we all got soaked!
Leah and Keenan try to stay dry but Keenan was too excited to stay undercover! The kids would run after the candy that was thrown from the trucks. The came away with so much candy!
Aislinn waving at all the cops toward the end of the parade. The lights aginct the dark and drizzly day was magical. Perfect end to a pretty great day!
Corey and I in the van soaking wet and glad the kids had fun.

I love the last pic. Totally cute! I won't show this to Creed and Kai...they might be bummed that they missed out on all the candy. Although I'm sure Leah will be happy to rub it in!
