Lastnight (Tuesday) was Brinley's Christmas Band Concert. She has choosen to learn the Alto Sax and has fallen in love with it. She is very gifted and I have been so impressed with her dedication to it.
For a beginning band they did a great job. The have an amazing teacher who has done great things for these children. Many of them have never played a note of music in there lives and here they are playing popular Christmas tunes.
After the concert we went to celebrate at Pepperbellys. It is a huge deal to take that many children anywhere....let a lone a resturant. They did good though and we all left so full we could hardly move!
It was a great family night. This has been added to one of my favorite memories.

Great job, Brinley! Sean asked me what a saxaphone was the other day and as I described it to him he said, "Hey, Brinley has one of those"! I don't think I realized until he said it that you were learning the sax. Is that the same instrument as Kenny G? Sax is so warm and soothing to me.
